Our meticulous testing regime goes far beyond the usual standards for commercial refrigeration testing. An example of this is our “one million door opening test”, designed to demonstrate the durability of our T-Series door hinges to QSR chains.
This test uses a robot to open and close the door of our upright cabinet a million times to simulate wear and tear. Even at 100 door openings per day, it will take over 25 years to reach this number.
This outstanding durability allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee on T-Series door hinges, in addition to our already impressive warranty.
Another endurance test relates to the efficiency of our reverse condensing unit (RCU) fan motor. The test involved running two units for four years without condenser cleaning. One unit was fitted with the reversing fan motor, the other was not. As dirt and debris naturally built up on the condenser over time, the unit with the RCU technology was recorded consuming 20% less energy than the one without.
